    Medical Science & Computing is searching for a Python/Django Developer to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH). 

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with Project Manager to determine project scope and schedules
    • Utilize experience and skills in Java and/or JavaScript-based AJAX frameworks and related plugins, such as jQuery, Swing, AWT,etc. and various frameworks such as Spring and/or Hibernate
    • Database design using SQL skills and experience
    • Utilize knowledge of SDLC including skills in frameworks such as Scrum/Agile, environments such as Eclipse, and usage of tools such as Maven, SVN, CVS, or JIRA
    • Assistance with development and design of GUI components as needed
    • Employ problem-solving and multi-tasking skills to achieve project objectives within a team environment




    • 6+ years of strong application/web development programing experiences with strong analytical skills
    • Must have current up-to-date experiences with Python/Django, JavaScript, CSS, HTML 5, and Oracle PL/SQL.
    • Strong programming background with proficiency in at least one language (Java, C++, C#, Python, etc).
    • Optional but nice to have some experience with Angular, Sass, jQuery, PostgreSQL and maybe AWS
