Medical Science & Computing is searching for a Medical Ontology Research Programmer to support the National Institutes of Health. This opportunity is a temporary position for approximately 12 months and it is on-site in Bethesda, MD.
The Medical Ontology Research (MOR) project requires the services of an experienced programmer to develop and maintain software tools in support of research at the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications (LHNCBC), National Library of Medicine (NLM). Programming support is needed to enhance existing software applications as well as develop new applications that utilize emerging standards and technologies. Strong communications skills as well as the ability to work independently will be needed in our research and development environment.
