    Duties & Responsibilities

    We are seeking a seasoned Scientific/Medical Recruiter responsible for identifying, interviewing and referring uniquely qualified applicants to the appropriate Program Managers for consideration.
     
    Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities of the Position:

    • Source and recruit a variety of Scientific and Medical candidates including Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Trial Nurses, Scientific Writers, Computational Scientist, and Researcher Associates in the disciplines of Chemistry, Biology, and Immunology.
    • Research and determine best resources for targeting uniquely qualified candidates and niche sites for posting openings.
    • Utilize best practice search methodologies including use of social media, passive recruiting techniques, relationship building, and referrals.
    • Identify, screen and present qualified candidates; keep accurate records; timely follow-up with candidates; build pipeline for future openings
    • Work with Program Managers to devise a recruiting plan and create a detailed position description
    • Ensure compliance with MSC’s policies and practices, and applicable state and federal law
    • Document and report in MSC’s applicant tracking system
    • Present qualified, prescreened candidates in a timely manner
    • Assist with establishing corporate policies and procedures that pertain to the hiring and retention of candidates.
    • Maintain and create new relationships with Universities for internships and entry level positions
    • Work on other technical positions as needed related to other business areas and proposals

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of scientific and/or nurse recruiting experience.
    • Experienced in the placement of a wide variety of Scientific Professionals for positions within the biotechnology/biomedical research field
    • Demonstrated expertise in recruiting strategies using various tools to include social networking, email campaigns, internal databases, referral based recruiting and innovativecost effective search methods
    • Understanding of employment law relating to recruitment and Equal Opportunity Employer
    • Expertise in the use of an applicant tracking system
    • Accuracy in reporting and tracking
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work independently as well as continually communicate and update with Program Management staff, be detail-oriented, and have excellent analytical skills
    • Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment
